Simmons Security is a minority-owned family business that provides private security services for residential and business communities in Greater Kansas City. Our company is managed by a Board of Directors who have over eighty years of experience in law enforcement and deep roots in Wyandotte County. We are dedicated to supporting Kansas City with a community-centric approach that creates a safer place to live and work.
Our history in safety and security began in 1957, when John Turner, Sr was sworn in as a Kansas City, KS Police Officer. His commitment to law enforcement influenced his son John and stepsons Harold, Herbert and Michael to also pursue careers in law enforcement. These influences and pledge to safety created an environment where Simmons Security was born.
